HandyNotes is a Java application designed to make it easy to keep a bunch of notes and random thoughts easily accessible, instead of having to keep, for example, a bunch of Notepad files scattered on your desktop (at least in Windows).
The biggest new feature in this release of HandyNotes is the ability to synchronize your notes with the HandyNotes website. When you are done for the day, just press the synchronize button and HandyNotes will upload your notes to the web. The first time you do this you will have to register as a new user. Once your notes are synchronized, you can browse to handynotes.net with any web browser, login with your username and password, and check your notes or add new ones. When you're back at your computer, just press the synchronize button and HandyNotes will update your local copy of the notes with any changes you made at the website.
You can also use this feature to keep two or more copies of HandyNotes in synch. For example, if you use HandyNotes at home and at the office, just make sure you synchronize when you leave home and get to the office, and vice versa. Then you'll always have all your notes easily accessibly in your desktop, no matter where you are.
